Hello,
I'm Aaron!
BS in Mechatronics Engineering at Texas A&M University

I am a Mechatronics Engineering student at Texas A&M University. In addition, I am pursuing a minor in Embedded Systems Integration and a minor in Cybersecurity. While I am in school, I am working as a student IT technician at Zachry IT. My goals are to design, develop, and maintain automated & embedded systems in products, and build robotic prototypes. I have strong technical proficiency experience in electrical, mechanical and software engineering. I am well experienced with basic circuit design, analysis, and testing using Multisim and Altium. Additionally, I am proficient using Creo and Fusion 360 for 3D modeling. I am confident using programming languages such as Python and C/C++. I familiar with ARM computer architecture and programming in assembly language.

Why Mechatronics?

"Jack of all trades, master of none." This saying inefficiently yet rightly (to an extent) describes what Mechatronics is. It can have a negative connotation as it gives the impression that one is indecisive and unable to focus on one particular skill set amongst the myriad of others. However, without Mechatronics, much of the new technological developments are not feasible. Mechatronics is the combination of several engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. The unification of these disciplines has developed automation and improved the innovation of processes, systems, and products. Strictly speaking, automation has single-handedly enhanced productivity and optimized efficiency to a new standard that industries and companies are greatly benefiting from. With Mechatronics, I can ascertain the necessary technical skills to understand and solve complex problems and systems which involve two or more engineering disciplines.
